A very well attended meeting on Monday. A good turn-out and excellent discussion.
Local schools are progressing well with their wording and photographs for their banners which will be on display during this summer’s exhibition ‘EDUCATING AVONDALE‘.
It has been agreed that there will be a collection day on Saturday 21st April at 360 Graphics Ltd in Townhead Street where members of the Trust will be available to discuss any items of memorobilia brought along.
So … if you have anything lurking in the loft or back of the cupboard from your school days, please bring it along on Saturday 21st April. We already have plenty of class photographs which we can use, however, if you have a photograph of a significant event in the history of the school, please bring it along between 11am and 3pm.
